DJ DOC Lee Ha Neul Not Guilty, Park Jung Hwan to File Appeal

The 4-month lawsuit battle between former DJ DOC member Park Jung Hwan and current member Lee Ha Neul (read about it here) finally reached a verdict, with Lee Ha Neul coming out not guilty. But the fight is definitely not over yet. Park Jung Hwan, who was infuriated by the court’s decision, said he will be filing filing an appeal to overturn the case.

On February 22nd, Park Jung Hwan’s representative informed TV Daily, “We cannot accept that Lee Ha Neul was found innocent in this case. As soon as this case closes, we plan to file for an appeal.”

In addition, Park Jung Hwan will be holding an exclusive press conference to express his personal perspectives and reaction to the final verdict.

This controversial court battle between former boy band members all began with a casual statement Lee Ha Neul made on a variety show. While he was on Happy Together 3 back in November 2011, Lee Ha Neul briefly mentioned that former member Park Jung Hwan lacked a sense of rhythm. This statement greatly upset Park Jung Hwan, who later sued Lee Ha Neul for slander.

If Park Jung Hwan really does have rhythm, then just show people. Me thinks he doth protest too much.
